What is Beansters?
Beansters is a cloud eLearning platform: an authoring tool, learning management system and responsive e-learning app in one. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive. You can create online learning modules in no time, define your learning paths and build your own online academy. Combine different modules or adapt them to create a complete (adaptive) online learning environment.
What does CREATE stand for?
CREATE stands for the authoring tool, also called the Content Management System (CMS). With the authoring tool you can create the content of an online training or course. In the pre-defined structure, you can choose from different working methods.
You can easily adapt the eLearning to your own corporate identity. With integrated design templates, the look-and-feel is guaranteed and consistent everywhere. This allows you as an author to fully focus on didactics and content.

What does MANAGE stand for?
MANAGE is the management portal, also called the learning management system (LMS). In the LMS you can create learning programs, manage user groups and link users to groups and learning programs.
The LMS also keeps track of the results of eLearning modules and enables you to create reports as well. If you prefer to use your own organisation's LMS, you can easily export Beansters’s eLearning as a SCORM package.

What does LEARN stand for?
LEARN is the central learning portal for all eLearning participants. As a learner you can see your specific content and follow and execute your eLearning modules.
This is also the place where you can consult personal statistics and certificates. The portal gives a clear overview of all online learning modules which have been completed and those which have not yet been followed.

In which Learning Management Systems can I import my content?
Beansters can be imported in all existing learning management systems by means of SCORM.
How do I create a SCORM export?
When the content of the course is ready, it can be exported via SCORM to be published in another Learning Management System.
To do this, click on the red kiosk icon, behind the name of the course:

Here your can make a choice between SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004.
The SCORM export can then be uploaded into the relevant Learning Management System (LMS). All formatting elements as entered when creating the course will be retained.
How often can I perform a SCORM export?
How often a SCORM export can be performed depends on the package used.
BEANY: In this package, SCORM is not a standard feature. Depending on your situation, SCORM exports for a fee could be one of the options. Please contact us for more information.
COMPANY / ACADEMY / UNIVERSITY: at the start of our collaboration, the agreements regarding SCORM exports to other learning management systems will be documented. Should changes be necessary after some time, please contact us.
How do I create an account in Beansters?
You can send an email to info@thebeansters.com. When we have created your account you will receive a welcome email from us with which you can activate your account and create a password. And you can get started right away!
Can I also work with multiple people in 1 account?
No, this is not possible. An account is personal. If you would like to add more users you will have to create multiple accounts.
What can I do if I forgot my password?
On the login screen you will find the link "Forgot Password" in the lower right corner (see box below). By clicking this link you can reset your password.
What will a Beansters account cost me?
The costs will be determined by the way you will be using Beansters. We have set up 4 packages for this purpose:

Are start-up costs charged?
No, because you can easily set up your own Beansters environment yourself, no start-up costs are charged. Of course, we can help you with the start-up. However, we may charge you for this.
